moved in aug. 2011 with a $99.00 move in special an 1 year lease. found out that these 3 buildings where under receivership on court order. that means that the court over sees all monies spent on property. the rent was $485 plus $15 for water an trash per month for $500/month. we found rocks on carpet with dead cockroaches also in cabinets. at anytime there would be roaches crawling on the floor, walls, ceilings, bathtub, sinks. there would be worms coming up thru the carpet. when coming home at night in summer there would be several beetles, roaches outside our door an sidewalks. we informed mgr. of need pest control so he came an put goo in corners of cabts. that was all so we found some stuff that worked better but still had some invaders. we needed a new thermostat so i told them need a digital one installed got it. above us was another apt. an it would leak water in unit when it rained. so maint. came out to seal roof with henry’s roof mastic which is black tar. so when it got warm it ran down in front our door. called mgr. to tell them but the maint. person who came in to fix t-stat walked thru the tar an tracked in on carpet. so called mgr. to let them know but no body came. 2year signed lease for another year. we were trying to re- establish our credit since filling chapter 7 thats why we were there. so then the hot water was turned off without warning also cold. on a friday a broken pipe with water bubbling out of the ground call maint. an said his boss will look at it monday so he put yellow caution tape around area. two times had to call mgr. to tell them that the boiler had sprung a leak an they will call boiler co. i knew the people that worked with the boiler and informed me that there was a by-pass so we would not be without hot water but maint. told mgr. there was not one. then there was 4 days without hot water until they call owner for approval in california. several hispanic families lived there maint. was theathing the women they will call authorities to de-port them if they didn’t have sexual relations with them. the coin washers & dryers were breaking down a no one would call co. to fix them they would come out just to collect the money weekly. they put new machines in with a price increase but they still didn’t fix or repair so of the machines. so at the end of the 3rd year we signed a 6mo. lease inwhich mgr. would shampoo carpets but we would have to move out furinture which we were seniors that couldn’t do. so on october 30, 2013 give mgr. our 30 day notice. which the mgr. ask if we would stay! so as per lease we would pay the extra $100 for one month so rent was $600 for the last month this was according to the lease. on nov. 30 give mgr. 2-keys to apt. 1-key for mailbox 1-key for pool area. in 30 days they never came to inspect. unit for problems before leaving. so on dec. 10, 2013 went back to see a friend an found out our unit was allready rented. as of this writing we have a collection from wynn palms apt. thru sentry recovery of las vegas,nv. for $967.00. none payment of rent for dec. 2013, painting, cleaning, carpet. this was noted on credit report jan.2014 with no notice sent to us. wife got a call in april 2014 from sentry collections girl she ask if your husband worked at his company and she said no. had heart problems, she ask if she worked she is disabled an di not. so she said do you know why she is calling wife said no. we owed rent for dec 2013 at wynns apts .wife said we have cancelled check for rent last month for $600 per lease an mgr’s re leased us of property. then a man came on an said do you know why she is calling? wife said didn’t pay rent. he i’ll call you back an hung up. have not hear from them since april. it is now may10,2014. have filed a dispute with all 3 credit co’s. equifax has said that we need to call sentry recy because collection is leagal. have not had a response from other 2 yet? we are looking at possible lawyer to help.
