We bought a Lane Sofa & Loveseat in June 2013. Friday evening May 22nd we noticed the cushion on the RH side of the sofa appeared to be sinking into the crack between the sofa cushion and sofa arm when you’d sit down. Saturday May 23rd Sofas & Sectionals was called for info on the process to file the 5 YEAR EXTENDED WARRANTY they dangled when originally selling. Oh so sorry they said, they go home as they’re in a different time zone, call Monday. I work & they’re gone by the time I get home, well call next Sat. because their number is Mtn Time and you’ll be fine, as they work 10AM to 2PM. Saturday May 30th call made, oh so sorry that person went home sick today. Stupid me I took off work on Thursday June 4th to place the call and I get a not so pleasant speaking Shakeeta who I interrogated me, and I do mean spoke sharply and snotty to me to take down my information. Her behavior very annoying & was putting me, after about 15 mins in a foul mood, when she asked when did you first notice this. I said approximately 3 weeks ago, I didn’t have my notes in front of me, BIG MISTAKE, with all my previous experience. Shakeeta said hang on and then what seemed an eternity came back on & told me you’re denied because it’s been over 15 days before you filed the claim. I complained vehemently, said approximately 15 days besides this is a 5 Year Warranty and I was led to believe it would be honored. No it won’t and we’re recorded. I said, this is a bunch of crap, I want to speak to your supervisor. Hang on, which I did for eternity, in silence, then music started playing, then a recording for me to leave a number and message & they would get back to me….like that’s ever going to happen. This may not be over as we’re being encouraged to file a class action suit. BUT BEWARE – BUY from a “local”” responsible store that understands & honors customer service.”
