SUNCOAST APPLIANCES SELLS BROKEN DOWN APPLIANCES AND WILL GIVE YOU THE u201cRUN AROUNDu201d I paid nearly $1000.00 in kitchen appliances from Nick at Suncoast Appliances at their warehouse at 8801 66th Street. Nick delivered appliances, but DID NOT want to install refrigerator, although their ad reads on Craigslist free install. After delivery, I understood why Nick refused to install the fridge because once it was plugged in, it was leaking water from the door panel. I called Nick who came out to replace the part, but four months later, the part broke down. Three months after my purchase, the refrigerator wasn’t keeping ice cream cold. I called Nick, who told me if the ice cubes in the freezer were still frozen, the fridge was working fine– just not cold enough for ice cream. A few weeks later, all food items were thawing. I called Nick again, and he charged me $75.00 for freon and said he was giving me a deal not charging me for a service call because the 30-day warranty had passed….whoopee. Once a fridge needs freon, the fridge is junk — Suncoast basically unloaded a bad appliance, and can now charge for endless service calls to repair and maintain the appliance. After I had ANOTHER PROBLEM with the fridge, I phoned Nick and requested an exchange. He said he only had two refrigerators which were $700 to $1200 more than what I paid for mine. However, I searched the Craigslist ads and found an advertisement that Nick had a fridge for sale that was the same model and price as the one they sold me (pictured above). I went to Suncoast’s retail store on Hwy. 19 and asked the clerk, Nick’s brother, about the refrigerator (which was ticketed $100 higher than the Craigslist ad price). He called Nick who confirmed it was for sale. When I told them of my earlier conversation with Nick and requested an exchange, both Nick and his brother said the refrigerator was now sold …all within minutes of our conversation. Using my cell phone, I called Nick and asked if the ‘alleged’ buyer gave them money for the fridge. Nick replied “not yet

but the guy who sent the text wanting the fridge will pay for it”” after Nick was done delivering for the day. Nick went on to say that I could have an exchange with the higher priced fridges in the store if I paid the difference (which

He bought an appliance from Nick at Suncoast and it did not work. When the Landlord managed to get an exchange from Suncoast
