Sears Parts Direct.. Waterloo Iowa Review

Ordered part for Kenmore Elite dishwasher from sears parts direct website at the sears store .Gave associate model number ,and serial number off the unit..Part is ordered by associate from sears parts direct,based off of there online diagrams and part numbers.Part arrives at my home ,completely different part arrives .CALL sears part has to be shipped back to them via there return label ..When they get it back,then they will refund your money. To get correct part now you must order the part again..while they already have 60 of your money already..You get to shell out another 60 some dollars on top of that.Mean while time wise, this is taking forever, the dishwasher is leaking all over your brand new floor causing black mold and what not..went and purchased new shutoff valve after the time it takes sears to fix the problem.So i return to Sears store.Tell him of the situation , the Sears associate tells me this..There is a parts store on University called Dey Appliance Parts and Service..they will probably have the part ,possibly even cheaper.Sears parts direct doesnt have a good track record ..i would probably just go to Dey.So i go to Dey..the same day ..within 30 min to an hour of placing the Sears Parts Direct order.Dey has part,correct part ..cheaper part..yet exact same part sears had..same manufactuer, everything.So I call Sears cancel order part ..All is Good..correct? i have 60 tied up in the wrong part sent..not ordered wrong .It is 100 percent Sears Parts Direct at fault..not me not the associate..53 in the part i purchased at Dey..And now another 60 being held by Parts Direct.Due to they claimed the part was shipped 1 hr after ordered.and it was to Late to cancel.So i have now paid out 175.00 to 180.00 for a 50 dollar part..Low and behold at least the dishwasher was fixed thanks to DEY not SEARS!.. So i do all the return labels for 2 products..send them via UPS..back to Dallas..3 weeks later i have most of my money back..This Report is for the fact Sears Kept 9.99 plus 9.99 of my money for there “SHIPPING”” i paid sears 19.98 for Nothing..They got my first order completely wrong not me..they obviously took no responsability of that

because they charged ME the shipping..Then when they told me the 2nd order was all of the sudden shipped out..funny how they claimed it had shipped ..i got no tracking number or anything i recieved with the first order arrived at my doorstep 9 days after..first order took 4 days.SEARS. had to make some money off of this bunk deal is the way i see it..who cares if they wrongfully charge a customer..I WILL NEVERRRR DEAL WITH SEARS PARTS DIRECT EVERRRR AGAIN!!! 3 to 4 wks you had my money tied up..for nothing..then you basically steal from me!!”

Not really. In spite of the review published here, there has been no response from Sears Parts Direct.. Waterloo Iowa Review. Lack of accountability is a major factor in determining trust.
Because unlike Scam Tracers, other websites get paid to remove negative reviews and replace them with fake positive ones.
