We purchased a SEARS Elite Convection Oven Model 97473, on November 2008. On July 2009 the display unit malfunctioned, it was under warranty and they replaced the unit. On Jan 2010 the same exact thing happened, I called Sears and they explained that it was not under warranty and they could not help me. I wrote a letter to Sears and the BBB, they replaced the unit and while there service person was here I asked about why this would go bad the same thing in 6 months. I was told they are doing alot of these repairs to that model stove. That this should fix the problem, but indeed it did not. August 2010 again the same exact thing happend, I called sears and received the same speil, wrote a letter to sears, & the BBB, Sears stated there postion is, this is out of warranty and will not fix this. my complaint is not with the warranty but with the defective display unit, and this Sears needs to stand by there product. This stove is not even 2 years old and I have had the same exact problem 3 times so far, is there a lemon law for appliances, I purchased a lemon.
