5 points Auto Group Five points Auto Center LiArs and scam artists trying to pass off cars as safe and in good condition Layton Utah!!. After calling last weeek I inquired about a 2002 Ram 2500 Curtis told me I would need to give a creditr card number to HOLD the truck not RUN, which I gave to him.He calls me everyday making sure Im coming up at the appointed time with cash! Get there at 930 after driving 11 hours and Curtis isnt there 1st red flag, then when Neal shows us the truck it is completely unacceptable to sell, passenger side mirror shattered. Holes through the exterior grill into the radiator, burned trans fluid on the underside of the hood but the TOPPER was when I get into the truck and see the dash has the airbags blown through it, it was cracked in the triangular pattern from it blowing through, which they tried to deny. Then Neal tells me to “START HER UP!” and hands me the key, I get in the drivers seat wont move, I tell him this and he literally tells me to “Jiggle It!” I tell him to Jiggle it Im outta there, then he tells me my HOLD money which i authorized but never authorized my card to be actually ran is non refundable.Typical used carsalesman BS. Heres the bottom line, if you search online you’ll find Curtis is a Lying scum used car salesman who will say anything to get the 500$ hold money hoping he can jam you into a vehicle and you wont have any choice but to take it. Little does this fool realize My credit cards have fraud protection so their not getting my money over the long run anyway. They are theives selling damaged vehicles unsafe to be on the roads. There are ethical salespeople out there go to them instead. If you actually buy a car from them You get what you deserve! Charges have been filed against Curtis with teh Layton Police department , the utah consumer protection board, the motor vehicle enforcement board, the BBB and the Attorney general. After reporting their fraud they tried to pull the ad for the truck but we already downloaded it in pdf for the authorities. IF youre reading this and have been scammed by them feel free to contact me as we will be collecting information for the request of a class action lawsuit against Five Points auto and Curtis directly for theft and fraud.
