Riverside claimed we needed a new HVAC system and gave us a quote of $5250 and a deadline of three hours. We got a second opinion. For $50 we learned the drain hose was underground – something Riverside knew or should have known. We didn’t need a new system. We gave Riverside the benefit of the doubt until they billed us for a nonbillable service call, lied about what I told their tech, and ignored our complaint about the bill. Riverside owes us, at least, an apology that admits wrongdoing. I intend to turn the case over to the prosecutor.
