I had a Relator selling my home. I saw a beautiful home online and we decided we wanted to purchase but our home was not yet sold. Joe Ward was selling that home and he said he needed to see our home first to make sure we would sell before entering in a contigency contract. Turns out he wanted to see our home to make sure we WOULDN’T sell to con us out of money. He told our agent that the seller believed we were destined to have her home and that should would wait as long as we needed. He was not supposed to market the home but kept up the sign and marketed it heavily online on all the websites as well- It was on Zillow the entire time. He actually said she was a poor divorcee and that all she got from the divorce was this home and she needed to sell it to buy a smaller town home. He even said she lost the first town home she was looking at because of how long it took us to sell. Turns out, she wanted due diligence fees to pay the mortgage on her $800,000 home she owned with her husband!! When she sold the home out from under us and we were upset and it was right before Christmas she said her daughter has had a hard time as well- she only has one college son! All this came to use through Joe Ward who new it was a lie. He was stealing from good hard working middle class folks to give to the rich. He did this entirely on purpose and lied the entire time just to con us out of $20,000!! That is a ton of money that we thought would be a deposit on the home and it was stolen instead.
