This complaint is about the employees at the LIVERMORE store… but, I figure if it’s the same owner, than you should be aware of how bad these employees are. I’m hoping the ones in San Jose are better. nI bought over $2,700 worth of cabinetry from Kingway. Upon opening one box (of many), I found the door panel was SEVERELY scratched, white plastered, and then lacquered over… only the door was damaged. The rest of the contents were undamaged. This was obviously done at the manufacturer, or it wouldn’t have the lacquer over it. I hung the cabinet, figuring that Kingway would replace the door (that was my mistake). And, I continued my kitchen project, because I wanted to see if any other boxes were damaged. No others were damaged. On my very next day off (Saturday) I made Kingway aware of the problem, and they said they’d replace it if I brought it in and showed it to them. I made the 1.5 hour drive with the door panel. Upon arrival, the employees were EXTREMELY RUDE to me and my girlfriend, to the point where they were practically yelling at and insulting us. They accused us of causing the damage, and refused to acknowledge that the scratches and the plastering that filled the scratches were obviously lacquered over… which means that it couldn’t have been done by me. In addition to that, they continuously talked among themselves in Chinese (I assume), so that we couldn’t tell what they were saying. Their customer service was beyond horrible. nPlease save yourself the aggravation. Do not buy from these people.
