Guaranteed Services Fountain Inn South Carolina Review

These guys were sent out by American Home Shield to fix my AC b/c it was running on auxiliary air and the breaker kept tripping. I paid the service fee and they replaced the compressor which took a month and a half. Four months after that, they were sent out again b/c my AC was running on auxiliary air again. I paid the service fee and they said there was nothing wrong. Three months later, they were sent out again. This time, I noticed the breaker for the AC was tripping even though I was not even running the air or the heat. I paid the service fee and they said it was a bad compressor again and replaced it again. The new one made a huge jolting noise that I could hear inside the house when it turned on and then made a loud screeching noise while the heat was running. I called Guaranteed Services and they came out free of charge. They said yes it is making a bad noise, but it seems to be working so there is nothing they can do until it stops working. At least I had heat when I needed it. Four months later I turned on the AC and it blew out air at 81 degrees! By now my AHS warranty had expired and I did not renew it b/c I was tired of Guaranteed Services. I called another company and paid $95 for a diagnostic. They said the system was charged with the wrong coolant or it was grossly overcharged with coolant and probably had other things wrong as a result. He quoted me over $1000 for him to fix it. I declined and called Guaranteed Services to have them come out free of charge to fix the problem I had already paid them 3 times to fix before and correct their own mistake. They refused to come out free of charge. The owner said “I don’t have time for this”” and transferred me to a secretary. They continue to come out free of charge to fix their own mistakes. AHS will not do anything b/c I do not have a current contract with them
