I purchased an online lot of drills (cost about $1,300) from Genco Marketplace, clearly advertised as “uninspected returns.”” I purchased a second lot of saw tools on the same day. The saw lot was lost in shipping. When the other lot arrived
it was clearly marked on the side of the box as “”salvage.”” I contacted Genco customer service about the issue. After three weeks
they finally issued a credit for the lost shipment. When asked about the salvage lot being misrepresented as “”uninspected returns
“” GENCO indicated that the lot should “”have never gone out”” to me. Working with GENCO customer service
the offer for settlement came in (for the salvage drills)- a $400 credit for another GENCO purchase
