Erie Construction installed a metal roof on my house in the Fall of 2006.I was so pleased with the appearance that I did a commercial for them.Now I’d like to do another commercial.This time I would point out that I made numerous calls to Erie because the roof leaked.I was told that I needed gutters, that I needed more insulation in the attic and finally, that they couldn’t do anything because the roof was so old.I bought the roof because I was told that if ice dams formed the roof would not leak.The last employee that they sent out told me that I was never told that!I hired another company to see if they could fix the problem.It cost me $5555.24 to have the roof removed and flashing put around the chimney and to install underlayment and snow and ice gaurd.All the things which I paid Erie to do but they failed to do the work.When I sent Erie an email on May 9, 2011 asking for compensation for my costs Connie called me within minutes and said that my claim would be turned over to James who would contact me shortly.I’m still waiting.I will never purchase anything from this company again.I prefer to deal with companies that can I can trust.
