We had a sales representative demonstrating the adjustable bed, explaining the benefits etc. I asked about storage under the bed, and the representative said yes there was. With all the snoring aches and pains and health problems, we decided we would give it a try, as he kept stipulating that there was a 14 day return policy plus your deposit back. We paid a u00a31,000.00 deposit, and the bed was delivered the next day Friday 6th January. Firstlly the bed has no storage under the bed, plus it is longer than stated and we cannot open the wardobe doors properly. We were told the motor was very quiet. This is not true, and Neither of us have had a proper nights sleep. My husband contacted Comfomatic on Tuesday 10th to say we would like to return the bed. Reasons were given to the person on the other end of the phone and we were told when the vehicle was in the area they would collect the bed. Monday 16th we contacted Comfomatic again and said we are still waiting, same story you need to wait until a vehicle is in the area. Wednesday 18th January the same story, but this time the gentleman ova the other end of the phone was quoting legal terms etc etc, and why were we still sleeping on the bed. My husband explained that we are unable to move the bed out of the room, to put our bed back. We have explained that the plastic covers are still on the mattresses. Our 14 days “cool off”” period is up on Friday 20thJanuary. The company are very quick at taking your money and delivering your item
but very slow at customer service. Unfortunately I only read about the 88 year old lady being ripped off after we had been trying to return the bed. I totally agree with them.”
