Belive they took advantage of a senior citizen who was looking for living room set with a sleeper sofa. We were told that a rush delivery will be added & shoul receive it 1 1/2 to 2 weeks. After complaining it finally arrived..took almost a month. They did not set up nor did it come in box. there’s a section on the back were the leather is sepearting/splitting from were it was sown..The delivery personell leave immediately before I was able to check it. I had to take the plastic & noticed that had to connect legs. when tilt the sofa there was damage on lower left section were I believe was a leg that was suppoesed to be attached. The wood looks damaged & a huge screw going through the mattress of the sofa. Immediately contacted mattress center & “Randee”” stated will send someone out to repair or he would have to state new one needs to be sent. I told her that I did not buy a second hand not damage or used furniture. I bought a new one and paid a a lot for it in cash. She stated only way to order another this guy has to come and inspec it because all order comes from Ashley Furniture warehouse and arrives at there’s. They don’t inspect it

but redelivers to you. If the guy “”Ken”” doesnt’ call by Friday call me back to give his cell. They didn’t want to give his number right away had to wait till today. Called them back & I called Ken whoes recorded massage stated the furniture guy… After calling a second time he answered and stated will not be there until next week on Thursday to repair. I told him that I don’t want repair because i bought a new sleeper sofa not a damage one. H e said it’s procedure & thought we bought from rooms to go. Decided to contact Ashley Corp in Wi. 800-477-2222. Spoke with Melissa from customer swrvice who later transfered me to a Tammy or Patti of there consumer Dept. Explained the situation and looks like they are not goin to do anything. She stated that the furniture leave their ware house to theirs and it is the responsibility of that ware house to inspect it. According to their contract if its fixable they are to fix it. I explained to her what Randee told me were they don’t inspect the merchandise when arrive that they only redeliver. They told me its the contract that they have

but I told her in my invoice doesn’t state if furniture arrive damaged they I agree to fix it. I bought brand new not damged goods. Ashley Furniture again stated its the contract they have and that Mattress Center would have to contact them directly in order to replace it. My senior mom is asking for help or should she continue waiting for this guy to come to give matress center th ok to replace it….. Again want all to know we bought new furniture not damge nor used…..”
